New extension - new room - new plasterboard all taped, filled sanded etc.

Ideally, i should install the coving now, and THEN start the decorating process.

Someone who shall remain nameless, it transpires, has applied a mist coat to the room today.

Does this affect the process of installing coving? (be it plaster based or Polyurethane) or can i just steam right ahead

thanks

your fine to go ahead. Mist coat wont harm anything. You will have to score the walls and ceiling to get a key for the coving adhesive anyway. Make sure you draw a line along the wall and ceiling where your coving will finish then score the walls with an old screw driver. Hope this helps. Cheers
