Coving Joints

Hi

What is the best method of concealing the joints in coving. I have a couple of "butt" joints which I have filled and sanded. Any tricks of the trade to stop the joints being visible once painted?

When joining lengths of coving uou should really use the template as if you were cutting external mitres. This will show a curve when they are joined back together in a straight line. this way it is easier to fill and sand and hide. If that makes sense !!
