hi, not sure if this is in the right section but here goes
Looking to fit plaster coving in a bedroom of quite an old cottage. Although the ceilings are generally nowhere perfectly level/straight, there is one major hump in the ceiling about 18 inches long by 2 inches high at its maximum.
How should I go about tackling this. Thinking of just filling this gap with a vertical edge (i.e. extending the lip of the coving). Does this make sense?? Is coving adhesive/filler suitable for such a large gap??
or..is there another solution
thanks
Andy
