The modern Crabtree boards have a "Slot-On" MCB mounting system, where the breaker is held onto the din-rail with a black spring clip, and the busbar connection is made by a prong at the back of the breaker, which sits into a special slot in the insulated busbar at the back, just below the din-rail.
Hooking an electricians screwdriver (with the main switch OFF), into the din-clip and opening it up, allows the MCB to be lifted out, provided the circuit phase conductor is disconnected by slackening off the top terminal screw.
if it is one of the ones with the prong at the back, these can sometimes get stuck in, and need persistent wiggling to loosen them off, after releasing the retaining clip.
this is a Crabtree Starbreaker, you may be able to see that there is no visible copper busbar at the bottom. because it is the slotted sort behind the MCBs. You can see some spare slots. View media item 1092
This is an older Crabtree MCB with the screw fixing at the bottom for an exposed busbar (again, this is a Starbreaker range) View media item 5162it is not a very clear picture so here is a Merlin one, where the screw at the bottom is shown better (this is a typical design) View media item 5164
and this is the sort with the prong (and no screw at the bottom). You can see the retaining clip underneath. View media item 5161
the clip holds the device onto the DIN rail in that dovetail-shaped cutout.
