Hi,

The bottom 2 rows of bricks on my bay window at the bottom seem to be eroding - any ideas what it may be and how I could treat?

Also, we have a hairline crack following the bricks down approx 7 rows....it doesn't go through the bricks.....just wondering what your thoughts are....photos attached.

Thanks for your time.

Dont know about the crack not enough info.

The groundlevel looks to be too high in relation to your dpc it should be a minimum of 150mm below, this is what is probably causing the erosion on your facing brick.

Thanks for the info. I had thougt that maybe the drive was something to do with it - it was in when we bought the house. What would be your recommendation for repair of the brick....obviously we have to do something about the drive too.

The crack goes from underneath the window and its right in the centre of the bay. Its on on the plaster inside and is hairline in width. Just wondering if there is anything to be concerned about and if not the best way to rectify the outside.

Thanks again for your help.
