We have taken the plaster off the walls in preparation for it to be boarded and skimmed.
Behind where the chimney was before previous owner removed it, and there is a fairly large crack. There was a hairline crack in the plaster over it before, so I assume it is not moving anywhere fast. The bricks are fairly loose within the gap.
The house is terraced, and this is the joining wall to next door.
Does anything need to be done with this (if so what?) or can we board over and forget about it?
