Crack in Garage Wall

I have a crack in our garage wall and was wondering best way of fixing it. It is behind some cuboards at the moment but I know its there as we have a pool of water on the floor whenever it rain or next door waters their garden.

Is it a case of using expanding foam or a filler?

A crack is normally the symptom of a problem, so you should investigate the cause first and remedy that.

If it is an historic and stable crack, then I would just run some clear silicone down it. Otherwise the traditional method would be to repoint and stitch in new bricks if some are cracked
