crack on inside wall

Hi over a period of time i have noticed a hairline crack in my wall getting gradual bigger.

The house is a mid terreace and the neighbour has said there is no crack in his wall, the crack appears to have travelled up the wall and across celing into airing cupboard.

The house is about 30 years old and was built on what is called a floating base.

Any advise please as its started to worry me and am thinking of getting a engineer to take a look.

A crack like this in a terrace is most likely to be seasonal shrinkage

i read your problem about the crack in wall it too dangerous because of there is a problem of life but every problem has solution so i suggest to you first do support the iron plat for support it and if you are financial strong then change it and if not you must repair the wall as early time it is better for you.
