Hi I have recently fitted a solid russian oak flooring grade A&B onto a sleeper system. Visqueen then 3"x2" framework at 200mm centres then the solid wood running perpendicular fixed with tongue tite screws. The next day when i went back to do another room the floor was making cracking noises when walked on, after walking on it for 2 mins it stopped. When i went back the following day the same happened again. Can anyone please explain what the problem might be and how I could stop this from happening in the other rooms.
