have just taken delivery of 16sq mts of 18mm solid oak flooring, 8sq mts is to be laid on a concrete floor, the other 8sq mts to continue in the same room but on existing floor boards. the ends of the boards are not tongue and grooved just plain, obviously the edges are tongue and grooved. Have read many sites with info but would like some first hand tips. Have read about using a resin to fix to concrete floor and nailing on the wooden floor, floating both floors, using an underlay, glueing the underlay, not using an underlay the boards are 200mm wide and 2.5 mts long. any advice would be grateful
