I've just started to prepare a bedroom for painting and noticed a crack in the corner of the bedroom ( which is corner of house) running from ceiling to about 6 inches from floor.

House is 10 years old.

crack is just about wide enough for me to get my fingernail in.

Should I just fill it or is it structural problem to worry about ?

How about the walls are they build of plasterboards?
If it's 10 yo it means almost new so sometimes is good just to fill it by caulk and then paint it

Yes, I reckon it is plasterboards, sound like it when i tap it.

Thanks, Ill just fill and get on with painting then.
