Hi

Anyone got any ideas on what to do about micro cracks/crazing of emulsion paint on internal walls.

The room was last decorated about 6 or 7 yeas ago, when you look closely at the walls around the door frames and near the ceiling the paint has lots of small cracks. A bit like the crazing you see on old paintings on the Antiques Roadshow!

The paint is not lifting and seems to be soundly stuck, so I'm hoping I can treat it with something and then just paint over with standard emulsion.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Regards

Rob

This can be the result of painting matt over silk, without rubbing-down first. Has happened to me.
