Creda Dryer Tripping Electric?

I have a Creda 'Simplicty' Condenser Dryer it has worked no problem until today, now every time you even move the timer button without even turning it on at the button the electric is tripping out i have searched through the posts but can only find posts on w/machines tripping out.
Anyone anny ideas especially Sleepyhead who helped me a few times before.

Most likely a short to earth.
Check the heater first, then motor and finally wiring. These are the most likely causes.

What do i check for?
Loose wires? or ?
