I think it is a disgrace that companies repeatedly pester the most vulnerable people at at time of year when everyone is under such pressure to spend spend spend WITH A 183.2% APR How can they justify the extorsion rates.

sadly some peope are mentally incompetent to manage their financial affairs and are the natural prey of all kinds of crooks.

credit unions are a godsend

funny thing is that governments are much more interested in the financial problems of people who vote and are politically active.

so mortgages, life assurance, pensions, Northern Rock are regulated

sectors of people who don't bother voting and are politically inactive don't get much government attention.

young people don't vote much either.
