Cup hook bit

Anyone know what a "cup hook bit" is for and how you would use it? It is often part of a large set of bits, e.g. second one down in top left hand corner:

I have never seen one before but could it be just for driving CUP HOOKS in, they can make your fingers sore if the wood is hard.

i take it its got a slot within the Y shape then i would agree with jonb
turn the cup hook by hand the fist turn then slllooowww speed low gear drill driver

Yes I think you're no doubt right chaps. It does have a slot and if I'd only read it as "cup-hook bit" rather than "cup hook-bit" I might have come to the same conclusion. :oops:
