i have cut some service voids in my kitchen cabinets.

I have some spare Cuprinol 5*. Can/should I use this on them to protect them from damp? Thoughts.

As long as they aren't near any water, then I wouldn't worry. When you cut worktops around a sink for instance, you can seal with waterproof pva glue, but chipboard won't swell under damp conditions, only when wet.
