Also quite common in heterosexual Caucasian people. It knows no boundaries. I have CKD3
If CKD is caught early enough, (and in mine and Harrys case it would appear it wasn't), it can generally be closely monitored and possibly controlled to such a degree a person is able to lead a normal life.

I'm living a fairly normal life, despite one failed kidney, and the other not that well. Damage was done by too high blood pressure, for years.
