Curtain poles

Hello all,

Can anyone tell me if, for a meduim to heavy weight curtain with a 250cm drop, there is a minimum thickness that a wooden curtain pole should be please?

I'd really appreciate any advice.

Whatever pole you like , its your wall fixing that're the issue.What you fixing it to?

Thanks Stephen. That's good to know.

I'm going to fix it to an external brick wall using long screws and wall pulgs, so i dont anticipate any problems in that respect.

Remember there's more than likely a concrete lintel above a window so get a good quality masonary bit for your hammer drill
