hi,

i couldnt fit in the full title, i want to protect against damp!
i have chased a channel in the concrete floor for a waste pipe. i have a downstaires bathroom with a 1x 4 meter extension (was there when i bought it) the extention does not have a deep concreat fill, its about 6inches of concreat on a DPM on top of earth.
the extension bit is now going to be a shower. this mean i have cut down into the concreat to lay a drain away pipe. But, i got to earth. once the pipe goes in i need to protect against damp coming through. the garden is high so im worried the next time the garden gets saturated the water will push up throght the hole in the concreat.

im thinking about putting concreat in the channel

help!
