Cutting a Worktop In Situ

My Sis wants me to cut an angled bit of worktop to square it off and make a bit more space.Is thare a way of doing this without removal of the whole darn thing first? Ta.

Then you can cut , handsaw will do most of it (sit on worktop to get good sawing position). Last couple of inches can be more difficult if you have tiles or upstand?

Thanks foxhole. She thinks I can do everything, but I don't want to make a mess of it and have it staring at me! I'm happy to give that a go. I'll cap it with one of those metal edged with a small lip to cover my sawing indiscretions.

If you can clamp a straight end to top it will help your saw cut stay straight .
