I have two 15mm copper pipes (hot from a combi and mains cold) which are a few mm apart. I want to cut them and replace a section with new pipes with T-joints etc. I have only ever cut pipes using a traditional pipe cutter (to give a clean edge) which you spin around the pipe. However there is not room to use such a device. My questions are:

1) How can I cut the pipes and

2) What type of joint would be needed to join the pipes at the new cuts? I want to use copper push-fit if poss but obviously need the joint to be completely water tight

Thanks in anticipation
