Cutting dried and stuck wallpaper

I just noticed on a room papered yesterday that one of the peices where I cut the joint at the roof doesn't match up with the other piece. The paper has been on less than 24 hours.

Is it possible to recut the joint so that it is in line with the other piece while it is still at this stage. I would make a clean cut and then dampen the piece I want to remove so that the wallpaper paste comes away and then carefully peel the strip away. Or should I just learn to live with it??

Thanks for the reply but I got the problem sorted by taking it slow and carefully now the problem has been sorted
