Helping my neighbour fit a used kitchen
The worktop is quartz composite. Maybe 10mm quartz with a hollow plastic core and PVC base.
From this company https://maxtopquartz.co.uk/

Budget is very tight
I have one of these I bought for cutting tiles with my 115mm angle grinder. Will it be suitable for cutting the worktop?
Need a cutout for a hob

Presume I am going to need a diamond hole saw for the corners?

Any tips? Have only ever cut laminate worktop before and just jigsawed the cutout.
Thanks

I've got a quartz island, that I finished the edges myself, including the rounded corners.

I used a small diamond blade to make initial cuts, then used a combination of sanding disc on and angle grinder and Mirka hand sander.

I then used some diamond polishing discs on my drill, starting at course and working up to 5000 (fine).
It came up like a mirror.
