Morning All,

I've just opened up a chimney breast and discovered quite a hefty chunk of stone in place which I need to cut out. Too big for a stihl saw.

I was looking at a chainsaw with a diamond blade but I'd probably have to sell my arse to be able to afford the hire (£100 / day & £100 / mm wear on the blade).

Are there any cheaper options available?

Thanks

If your not going to re-use the stone, you could possibly stitch drill it with an SDS+ Drill then use a lump hammer and bolster to break it up. ;) ;)
