hi my indirect cylinder needs changed (due to leak at seam)pretty confident replaceing apart from new cylinder has 2 tappings for flow and return on side but old cylinder has 2 15mm pipes coming out the top of cylinder looks like where immersion might have been can i just cut the pipes below and take then into the side connections in tank

re-route the 15mm pipes to the new coil, fit air vents on any high points.
Its an old immersion coil, used to convert direct cylinders, an alternative to fitting a sidewinder (pig of a job)
