Hi,
I recently had a new uPVC door installed in a rental property.

Unfortunately the tenant had a contractor install an alarm system, and they decided to attach a door sensor in a way that has punched holes into the uPVC. One of the holes, near the seal, passes right through.

If the damage is just cosmetic then it's not a huge problem, but I'm just wondering if the damage might have affected the integrity/longevity of the door, or the guarantee that came with it.

I have attached a couple of pics, any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Purely cosmetic them although can be repaired quite easily with a heat gun used gently and with care, eventually the holes will close up
