i ive been a member for a while but this is one of my first posts, ive just purchased my first house and its in a bit of a state, Iam going to start a thread soon, but for now i would like some ideas of how to repair this without taking up any of the new floor as it is under the sofa.

Just had some sofas delivered and the bloke putting the feet on dropped his screwdriver.

contact the company that supplied to sofas, they should be insured so if there is damage let them claim to get it fixed

I have done that but dont really want to have to redo the skirting, architrave and repaint the wall that ive literally just finished.

Little floor repair kits like those are great for a quick fix - I've used something similar and you couldn't tell until you looked close up.

Might be worth getting the pros in to get it done properly! (and yeah the delivery company should cough up for this one! :))
