Need your help please folks.

Window sill in the dining room, in a house I'm renovating. The dear little treasure that had the house before took it upon himself to remove a small part of the window sill, in order to accomodate a fridge I guess.
Problem is, I need to fix it.

Options I can I think of:
1) Get a window sill cover - any idea where I can get one of these ?
2) Fix a replacement piece in with some dowel - advice please !

Thanks in advance !

You could clad with UPVC, some people have this fitted with replacement windows.

Or repair, like you said, letting a piece in.

Or replace the whole cill.

Bearing in mind that sometimes cills are jointed into the window with a rebate on the back edge (not if you have double glazing fitted obviously!)

I had to replace a couple of hardwood cills for my father in law after his tennants dog got hungry! woof! :D
