damp by patio doors

If you seal brickwork you simply trap the moisture in the home, they need to breath and dry naturally.

just thought I better post an update on this,

someone suggested in an earlier post that the bottoms of the doors hadn't been sealed,

and they were correct, I silicone the bottoms of the doors using some Dow Corning 796 uPVC Silicone Sealant,

and it seems to have stopped all my damp problems,

the damp dried out after 4 weeks, and seems to not have come back since, so fingers crossed that's the end of it, only time will tell
