We have a "shed" attached to the house that previous owners used as a hot tub room, concrete base under the hot tub and decking around it. I had hoped to use the room as an overspill for kitchen storage with a few cupboards (I have far too many gadgets) but we realised soon after moving in that it it not watertight and had been unusable so far. It looks like they have put the building onto the decking so water comes in from the gaps, there was frost on the inside of the roof chipboard and it's now cracking, the decking gets mouldy if I close the window vents because it's so cold in there, pulled a panel off and you can see daylight through some gaps and the thinnest insulation i have ever seen.Quotes to fix it are ridiculous and my husband has no interest in diy and would rather it be knocked down. Is it possible to salvage it or call it a day?
