ref. PCA i used a figure of speech. But between the D&T companies and the PCA (all masters of stringing complaints out) you might be threatened in the sense that they will waste your time and money in seeking redress.
If you are full out serious (not just mad as heck) then your first recourse is to take legal advice - then follow that advice to the letter.

Thank you for the above advise. We have spoken to the company and they Managing Director said the surveyor who gave the quote did it to make up numbers rather than customer satisfaction.
We got a refund for the survey report we paid out for and finally he said if the issue does not go away then he will come out personally mid next year and investigate.
