Hope someone can help!!
Im lost for ideas.
I have recently purchased a 1970's barrett home & renovated it, i layed the kitchen/diner with white ceramic tiles. i have noticed x2 of the tiles have started to turn a shade of dark, which to me from experience looks as if the there is moisture below.
After checking it, it would appear that there is a dpc installed. but i do have french pvc windows with a step higher than the dpc outside, could moisture be entering from the outside or is this a bigger problem.
The x2 tiles that are slightly darker are near the french windows!!
Orig there was laminate flooring, when i removed it, there was slight moisture in the area im having the problem, nothing serious, but i thought this could have been caused by either condensation or to the fact my orig pvc french windows were broken & did not close correctly, perhaps let water in through a large noticable broken seal.
I have since replaced the French windows but im now guessing it wasnt the Broken pvc French windows.
