I have just lifted up all the old floorboards in my house and noticed a problem by the french doors area. I noticed the previous (terrible installer) has made a slight gradient in the subfloor as the concrete (2600mm x 200mm) is higher than the rest of the house - so they have used packers to raise the sub-floor joists to eventually go down to the right level of the rest of the ground floor. Is there a way to grind down the concrete by the window and what tool would i need to hire?
