Noticed on some new jobs the injection holes are drilled into the mortar or cement joins and not the brick. Is this because its quicker or are different injection solutions used to form the new damp course ? TIA
Seems the instructions for dry zone cream specify that. They talk about making the mortar joints into an effective damp proof layer.
The main thing is to follow the instructions carefully whatever they may be.
Oh and make sure the damp really is rising and not just coming through the wall or condensation.
