damp proof membrane question

going to tank out my celler its pretty dry at the mo but to be extra safe i will install a membrane

after installing this i wish to install a timber stud wall. my question is how do i attach the timber to the exsisting brick work with out puncturing the membrane thus causing it allow damp back through.

You could wedge the new studding frames off the ground floor joists.
