Hi,

I had the whole house fitted with new DG but now I have damp patches round one window, please see pictures. Any idea's?

1970's brick house with cavity wall insulation.

Not much rain recently so could it be thermal bridging.

Thanks for the reply but no sorry I can't take a picture from outside as this is bedroom window, too high up & I have no ladder.

Try and take a photo from the ground as close as you can, is it a flat roof above the window?

Thanks for the reply, I'll have to get pictures at the weekend as I leave for work & get home whilst it is still dark at the moment. I could stick the camera out of the window & take some shots.

No its not a flat roof above, gable end of house.

Could be down to faulty guttering with a faulty silicone seal around the window edge. More pictures needed.

Or call the window fitters back, not fit for purpose.
