Hello all, I am hoping somebody might be able to help with an ongoing issue we have under our upstairs bay window.
The house is a detached 1930s house. We renovated it around 6 years ago now, and this problem only seems to have arisen in the last 3 ish.
Under the bay, we have a number of patches of damp, which has caused the paint to bubble off down to the plaster and in places, the plaster (mostly around screws on the plasterboard I think) is starting to come off.
We want to get the issue sorted and have funds to do so, but my confusion is mostly over who to call (not ghostbusters) as I’m unsure if it’s an external issue (although worth noting that we had our bay cladding redone 18months ago and the wooden struts underneath were fine and not rotten or anything), a UPVC issue, a plaster issue or something else?
I have attached pictures to give an idea of what the damage looks like.
