Damp

i have just had installed by the council a xpelair premier humidifior thing to supposdly to take wetness out of the walls the prob i have in room is the outside walls are damp and one time after decorating they were soaking n black damp mould up walls. is this fan waste of time think its cf20 model no sure big square thing. thanks richie

Sounds like your council are trying the cheap option first, surely by the time the damp gets into your room its too late? Problem needs to be fixed at source, such as tanking or a dpc etc

yeah thats what im thinking they said summit to do with roof but came home fae work one day scaffolding down n they didnt even say what they done. were upstair btw 4 in a block lol. they haven a clue i think
