Danfoss thermometer

Hello I didn't know if someone could help me because I can't seem to get my danfoss thermometer off because it is stuck so I need to get it off so that I can fix it as it is always cold. It is able to move from hot to cold but there is no difference in temperature. I didn't know if someone might know the best way for me to get it off or the best way that I can fix it, thanks a lot.

Black ring on the base of the valve turns to un-clip it. The pin underneath is probably jammed and needs a tap with a hammer. Or the head needs renewed and can be picked up at a wholesaler or just fit a coplete new valve.
The valve head just pushes back on as the clip is sprung loaded.
