How do you remove the sensor from an old style Danfoss thermostatic radiator valve. I have undone the grubbscrew (alankey) but the sensor will not come off although it does now move about 4mm.
Only 2 types come to mind. One has a kniurled ring which fairly obviously unscrews, and the other is a heavy sort of clip-on. When they get old and brittle that becomes a snap-off. It just might help to warm it first - hair dryer?
