Dawn till dusk

Hi, I have 4 outside lights and would like them on dawn till dusk sensors but without an ugly box next to the light, I have tried the bulb with sensors and these just don't work and are very expensive, they are on a separate fuse.
What would be the best way to achieve this ?

You will need a photocell. But you would NOT put it next to the light. Usually tucked away on a north-facing wall. Usually one photocell to control all the lights.
