Is it normal to be able to see daylight in my loft space?

The first two pics with brickwork visible are along the pitch. The light seen in the third pic is towards the soffit.

The biggest problem that I can see is here:
1777100630076.png

Tile broken with half of it missing, poor leadwork, visible timber under the lead flashing. The dry verge isn't great at that location either.

Most of your light in the loft seems to be coming from ventilated eaves which is expected.

Thanks @pcaouolte . Please could you let me know what's wrong with the lead work and dry verge? Are they functional or will likely fail?

Which is the visible timber under the lead flashing you mentioned?

I've attached a few more photos.

What's with the fascia beneath the soffit, is that to cover a large gap they have left between the soffit and wall?
