Dealing with awkward people

the best ever wind up thread I ever saw was one on coffee forums a few years back; somebody wrote a thread requesting advice on building a brick wall around his garden to keep cats out..............

so once again you look totally stupid, It was said I have contravened H&S issues, I have wiped an oily rag over her (your words) so I would say this was a result.

You said in the Two-tier thread that you are a christian.

I think you have misunderstood what the "cloth" in "man of the cloth" refers to

Back OT......

In the eighties, I did my school holidays as a spark's mate, putting up the lights at Walsall Arboretum

Climbing trees, dragging light (festoons?) up into them, etc etc.

One day, needing to work up one bloody huge tree, we lashed a ladder across the steps that led to the path. To stop the public from wandering into the work area.

Some old boy, 80 if he was a day, saw the ladder, dropped to his belly, slithered underneath it, got to his feet, and continued on his merry way.

"Son," he said to me "Ah bin gooin' this way for sixty 'ears, an' I ay gooin' anutha way"

I was working in a fast food outlet in a motorway services, it was closed and had a roller door with a sign on it saying closed until 11 am. I had left a gap of about a metre under the door, a woman crawled under the door dragging a kid with her, place was in darkness "are you open "

Same services, swapping out lights in the main dining area, the site guy had cordoned off the area with rope barriers with signage, I was in the process of removing a light and guy climbed over the barrier and sat underneath me with his meal " do you like dead spiders in your food I asked"
