Hi all, just started stripping my hall and landing, has supagylpta on,is coming off fine. However it is cross-lined underneath and appears 90%ok,few edges lifted etc.Do you think I would get away with filling, sanding and lining again over the top the "correct way up :ie roof to skirts)or would I be better stripping right back and just line it as normal.Just going to emulsion over afterwards,do you think I will encounter more problems with option 1 or is 2 fine?Just to add the plaster isnt too bad underneath.
Regards
Paul

Im suprised you got the spuaglypta off so easy without damaging the lining underneath..but if its in good nick then I cant see why you cant line over it...just make sure all the joints are well stuck down...and id go over them and down the corners with some knotitng for good measure.
