Hi all,
Found quite a few threads related but wanted to get some very up-to-date advice.
So got around 24sqm of decking that been stained twice now with anti-slip stuff (Cuprinol or to Ron seal, can’t remember). The wife is about to do it again (yet another diff colour) but it flakes off within weeks.
It seems oil-based is the way to go.

so,
- Cleaner the decking of crap and moss/green algae stuff.
- Pressure wash it to further scrub old paint off. We do have a patio cleaning head for the karcher.
- Then what….?
- Recommend me a really dark oiled-based stain. Ideally was looking for a deep brown or dark grey/black colour.
