Thanks for replying,
After posting (after searching for ages), I found a reference to Robinson (or Robertson) screw, so was able to search Toolstation etc. , to no avail. I really wanted some today, but the sheds etc don't appear to stock 'em, so will have to go to a proper ironmongers tomorrow.
