Hi, total DIY-er, looked at the site for years but never posted till now.
Bought a 3.6 X 3.6 wooden deck kit. Asked by wife to make it flush with the turf, so dug out 178mm (which was a ball-ache!) to cover membrane+gravel + frame + boards.
I'm a novice, so here goes...
Can I sit the timber frame on the light, aerated blocks?
WillI have problems with shift?
I wasn't going to concrete anything in, is it a bad move?
The deck is at the back left corner of the garden looking from the house, so no issues with a dpc/building regs/neighbours.
Any advice greatly received!
