I am intending to replace some wooden decking.
This time with composite … but having never bought it, what are good value boards, that are dimensionally & UV stable.

Welcome makes to consider or avoid.

I've read recently that composite gets noticeably hotter than timber when in direct sunlight. But that wasn't based on doing any major research.

I'm not sure any composites are 100% UV stable. I have used dino decking and they advise to allow for a certain amount of fading. TBH, the deck on our garden room (classic ash) looks just as good as it did when installed a couple or so years ago, but if compared to a new piece I expect it has faded a bit.
