Dont put too much on..thats a common mistake, cut a small slice in the funnel..if its not big enough cut a bit more off
Run a wet brush over it then your finger...making sure you take as much off as possible without compromising the joint
If you leave too much on it can cause you problems cutting in paint to it because it is curved
Make sure you leave it dry..even though it says it can be painted in an hour it will still shrink as it dries out.
