Does anyone know the typical voltage for a defrost heater as I’d like to try and check mine.

Bosch branded.
Thanks.

With no disrespect, are you talking about resistance rather than voltage?

We're generally on 230v here in the UK for domestic applications but I doubt that answers your question (Stepped down over the years on most substations from 240v).

While I'm not a domestic fridge engineer the principals are the same for all:

V= I x R
V= Voltage
I = Current (Amps)
R = Resistance

So since we're all on 230v, the question would be; Does your fridge have a defrost load stated on the data plate?

If so you can use the above calculation to work out the resistance (which is what I believe you may be looking for)?

Kind regards
